Oatmeal is full of nutrients like fiber, iron, zinc and what not. Including oatmeal cereal in the baby's diet keeps the baby full for a longer time and it is also good for digestion. It strengthens the bones of the little who is in a growing stage.
1 ½ tbl spoon roasted oats
½ tbl spoon grated cheese
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp black pepper powder
Salt as per taste
1 cup warm water
Note: I usually don’t use milk for her when I am using spices like oregeno, milk and cheese. Instead I use warm water.
Water quality may also differ. If you think some more water is required then add accordingly.
In a saucepan put rolled oats, oregano, salt, black pepper powder and dry roast. Roast for about 2 minutes.
Add water and switch the flame to medium. Let this simmer for a while.
Once thickens up, add cheese and let this cook for another minute or so.
Off the gas and transfer oat cereal in a serving bowl.
Serve this oats creale and let the little one enjoy this time.
The measurement given above serves 1 small bowl. Cooking time may vary.
